Research

Research is among the INM’s central tasks. Our research activities encompass a wide range of the emergency medicine topics such as provisional structures and long-term demand developments in acute and emergency medicine, Human Factors and risk management in emergency medicine, evaluation of new concepts in education, training and simulation as well as the monitoring of new approaches in acute- and disaster medicine.

Research at the INM is based on interdisciplinary cooperation. Apart from physicians our team consists of economists, geographers, IT-specialists, engineers, psychologists, mathematicians, natural scientists and social scientists.
