Training

Through the consideration of the complete supply chain of emergency medicine, our classes and trainings offer a marked additional value to conventional simulation trainings.

Our trainings contain aspects such as:

• Training of acute medical care strategies and techniques for multi-professional teams of emergency medicine professionals.
• Significance of the Human Factor as well as techniques of crew and team resource management in order to avoid errors and optimize patient safety.
• Team interaction in time- and life-critical situations, such as patient hand over in emergency rooms.
• Complex patient care chains along various stages and with interacting teams ("patient on the move").

In addition to training for professionals, the INM trains university students in emergency and acute medicine providing them with thorough basic knowledge. This is an integral part of the curriculum of the medical school at the Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München.
